Al Torres

Al was the founder, owner and CEO of Paragon Communications Solutions, Inc. (PCSi), a company he started in 2006 which provided classified Communications and Information Technology services and consultations to the Intelligence Community and DOD. Prior to founding PCSi, Al was an officer of the Central Intelligence Agency for 25 years. During his career with the Agency, Al spent much of his time overseas. From 2002 through 2012, he traveled many times in support of ongoing operations on the Global War on Terrorism, often in denied area war zones of Afghanistan and Iraq. Prior to joining the CIA, Al served in the U.S. Navy.

When Al sold PCSi in 2016, he and his wife Rhonda retired and moved to New Braunfels, where they build their home in Vintage Oaks. Al soon started a Veterans Association in Vintage Oaks, where he still serves as the President. He is very active in politics. He joined the New Braunfels Republican Women as an associate member and later as a full member of the New Braunfels Conservatives. Al is also involved with the Convention of States Project, serving as District Captain for Texas House District 73 and Texas Senate District 25. He is a deputy voter registrar for precinct 107, and has worked the election polls for several years now.  He has twice attended the Texas GOP State convention, both as an alternate Delegate and a Delegate.
