I was born and raised in Texas. I am currently a Resident of Comal County and New Braunfels since July 2015. I am very Blessed to be living a Beautiful life in a Beautiful City. I give thanks to God Always.
I am currently employed as a Comal County Property Tax Arbitration Board Member.
My family moved to New Braunfels in 2015 after my husband, Lawrence W. Spradley, retired from the United States Army. Shortly after moving to our wonderful city, I found I was interested in looking for opportunities to help our community. My husband and I joined New Braunfels Conservative and quickly recognized a group of likeminded people. We also have joined the Republican Club of Comal County, volunteered for Meals on Wheels, and the local food bank. We most recently volunteered as docents for the 2023 Tour of Homes. I would be a great fit into the Conservative Club as the Chair of the Hospitality Committee based on my past experience as the Family Readiness Group (FRG) leader for a US Army unit that was deployed to Iraq in 2004. As the FRG leader, I supported the commander’s family readiness goals, worked with military liaisons, recruited volunteers to serve on FRG committees, acted as unit FRG spokesperson for communicating family members’ concerns and ideas to the unit commander, and most importantly, looked after the families while their loved one was deployed.
