Our Christmas Tour of Homes returned in 2025 on Saturday, December 6th. Thank you to the large number of people that came and enjoyed touring the festive homes that were on display in beautiful Vintage Oaks.
History of our Christmas Tour of Homes
The story goes, in 1993 Genny Hensz wanted to contribute to fundraising for our predecessor organization, the New Braunfels Republican Women. She and her husband Don, decorated their home from head to toe and started a December tradition.
That simple act created an annual event that has endured to this day. Beginning the very next year, four homes were featured on the initial Christmas Tour of Homes (including the Hensz home).
